Melbourne’s Historical Coffee Trek

 

invites you on a sensory Espresso Experience, through Melbourne’s CBD, commemorating the contributions of our early immigrants, in developing our espresso industry and meeting the contributors to our café culture today. 

We visit original cafes and roasting houses around our beautiful city, sampling blends and learning the art of a perfect extraction.

Your host Maria has over 15 years experience in coffee and is actively involved in Training, Coaching and Consulting. She is an accredited barista and barista judge, involved in judging state and local competitions, Latte Art and events such as; The Golden Bean. 

She was the organiser of the Victoria’s and Tasmania’s biggest National Barista Competition, held at Federation Square, in 2006,with Victoria claiming it’s first Australian champion. 

As a Coffee Consultant and Ambassador of the Australian product, she has participated in various reviews, articles, television programs and hosted and organised a documentary tour of Melbourne aired nationally and internationally.

Tour Bookings

Coffee tours run alternative Saturday’s at 10am for 2.5 hours and are subject to availability. (Alternative days and times can be accommodated with a minimum of 6 people.)

Personal tours can be arranged for $150 for 2 hours. School excursions are welcome and are adapted to suit student needs and budget.
